When you’re designing a logo, you need to spend a lot of time thinking about what sort of message you want it to send about the brand that it represents. Every brand has it’s own personality and style, and a well designed logo will reflect that – whether it’s a tone that’s quite playful and fun, or elegant and classy or even serious and professional. There are a huge number of different design styles that portray different personalities and tones – and one of my favourites is the use of just black and white. A purely black and white logo helps to add a level of minimalism and elegance to a design. There’s something quite understated and stylish about a design that doesn’t have to rely on brash, loud colours to grab your attention – and for that reason, there’s an element of sophistication with designs that opt for a more monochromatic affair.<\/p>\n

I’ve collected some of my favourite examples of elegant, refined and tasteful black and white logos to give you some inspiration. Hopefully you’ll find this collection useful for when you next need to craft a logo design that you can be proud of. Of course, if there are any black and white logos that you’ve created, or that you know of, that you think deserve a mention – I’d love to hear about them in the comments.<\/p>\n
