OMG AWESOME MAC TRICK! On my macbook pro – sometimes the sound goes out for no reason, to fix it all you have to do is run this command and it will restart the audio process 🙂
start Terminal.appenter the command:sudo kill -9 `ps ax|grep 'coreaudio[a-z]' |awk '{print $1}'`press enterenter your password when prompted and press return
